My voice and approach shifted to meet people where they were, while still focusing on goals.

• Adaptability: I always knew how to roll with the punches while in a teaching and learning environment. For example: Having a hard day? I know how to adjust my tone. Needing more of a challenge? I’m on it. Disinterested? Just wait until you hear this… 

• Commitment: A teacher’s role is to help others cross the finish line (whether it’s achieving learning or mastering new skills, or preparing to advance to the next grade level). I gave everything I could to ensure the success of all students, my “clients” at large.
