I am a marketing communications pro-turned-high school teacher.

My ability to achieve student buy-in and interest in learning, in the world, and in each other was simply an extension of past marketing and creative industry experience. As a result, my educational career took off quickly. I evolved from simply delivering lessons into serving broadly within the school and district as a mentor teacher and leader — someone students and staff looked to for innovation and support.

I understand how to connect with audiences across platforms. I am a community builder at heart, something evident in my annual TED Talk-inspired event BOLT, or in the decades of events I’ve organized for friends and family.
